There are quite a few things that make SAR springs unique, including the POM Bearing, universal fitment, accuracy, light weight, and the ultra-durable KTL coating. The POM bearing is a thermoplastic spacer which offers two advantages over typical MTB coil springs. First, it allows for universal fitment to any shock on the market, which means you can use the same spring if you are swapping from one brand of shock to another. The POM bearing also prevents binding of the spring by allowing it to rotate during compression. All SAR springs come with a dyno graph to prove their accuracy, with 2-3% tolerance, SAR springs are the most accurate on the market. Most major manufacturers springs have an 8% tolerance, meaning that your 500lb spring could be as low as 460lb. As well as supreme accuracy, our mountain bike springs are significantly lighter than the competition. By utilizing a shorter design and an advanced steel alloy, SAR springs are up to 100 grams lighter than equivalently rated springs. Finally, the KTL coating is far more durable than a standard painted or powder coated finish, which means no rust and superior durability.
